When you take a course through UCLA Extension, you’ll meet one of our more than 2,500 instructors. These teachers work with us to develop cutting-edge curricula and are dedicated to providing you with quality instruction.

Many of our instructors have been with us for a number of years, and all are familiar with the challenges facing working adults who wish to advance their skills.

Experienced and knowledgeable working professionals enjoy teaching at UCLA Extension. They are key to our success as one of the nation’s oldest, largest, and most comprehensive continuing higher education providers.

Join our more than 2,500 instructors who lead courses and seminars, or serve as panelists in a broad array of fields, including business, entertainment, preschool and K-12 education, engineering, finance, design, landscape architecture and many more! Courses are taught evenings, weekends, daytime, and online. Course locations include Westwood, downtown Los Angeles, and others.

As a UCLA Extension instructor you will:
