Nate is a managing engineer at the Los Angeles office of Exponent, Inc. Failure Analysis Associates. Having worked as a fire fighter, researcher for the U.S. Coast Guard, and life safety consultant for Rolf Jensen and Arup for the last 15 years, Nate brings a unique perspective to the world of building codes and accessibility. Nate has worked on numerous world-class projects in China, the Middle East, Europe and North America with architecture firms including Gehry Partners, OMA, Renzo Piano and Pelli Associates.
Nate was honored with the 2013 Instructor of the Year award at the annual Arts Outstanding Instructor Awards ceremony.
