Congratulations to Jeffrey Daniels, Director of the Arc+ID Program, for being elevated to Fellow by American Institute of Architects!

Jeff_FAIAWe are delighted to share the exciting news that our very own Jeffrey Daniels, Architect and Director of the Architecture + Interior Design Program at UCLA Extension, has been officially elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects! The distinction recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals as well as their significant contributions to architecture and to society.

Daniels, a licensed architect with more than 30 years of experience, directs the Master of Interior Architecture Degree program at UCLA Extension. He studied architecture as an undergraduate at Princeton University and received his master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

When he came to Los Angeles, he apprenticed for Frank Gehry on such projects as the Loyola Law School. The architectural works designed by Jeffrey Daniels Architects include the David Hockney residence; the Edythe and Eli Broad Painting Studios for the California Institute of the Arts; restaurant interiors for Chaya Brasserie, among others; and the award-winning Kentucky Fried Chicken building on Western Avenue. In 2013, Daniels’ work was exhibited as part of “Overdrive: LA Constructs the Future,” an architectural exhibit at the Getty Museum and the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
