Commencing in 2017, wallpaper and fabric house FEATHR will be awarding a yearly $1000 scholarship to a current or prospective arts, performing arts, humanities or design student at an accredited United States university or college. The scholarship will be awarded based upon an essay submission, answering the following question: “How and why has a piece of art influenced your personal, educational and/or creative development.”

Tell us about what the piece of art was, where you encountered and what its impact has been, in the short and long term.

Requirements
Essays must be 700-1000 words long, answering the question: “How and why has a piece of art influenced your personal, educational and/or creative development.”
For the purposes of this scholarship, we define art as being the visual arts, including for example: ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking and architecture.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the FEATHR Wallpaper Scholarship, you must be:

a legal U.S. Resident

either a current undergraduate college/university student or a current high school student that will enroll in a college/university in 2017
-
studying an arts, performing arts, humanities or design-based subject
-
in good academic standing with your current educational institution
