Sara Rosman Levy is an Arc_ID student who graduated in 2011 with her Master of Interior Architecture (MIA) degree. She was hired from her internship at HBA/Hirsch Bedner Associates and was recently honored with HBA’s Up-and-Coming Designer of the Year Award.
“I came to UCLA Extension directly after receiving my BA in Economics because I knew design was where I really wanted to be. As I went through the program I became more aware of what a great decision I had made for my future. In my second year in the program I got the job I was working so hard to get at a top hospitality design firm. It was such an honor to be recognized for ‘up-and-coming designer of the year’ and I continue to work hard and hope to have an impact in the world of design as so many before me already have.”
Hirsch Bedner Associates has been leading the hospitality design industry since 1964. They are an international design firm with multiple offices around the world.
Sara continues, “There are so many UCLA Extension students here at HBA it is actually hard to believe, but definitely great for the program. Our school definitely is producing students who can at least survive in the real design world.”
