Congrats the 2014 Certificate of Interior Design and Master’s of Interior Architecture graduates! The Certificate students totaled over 50–more than any other Arts department program! And our Master’s graduate group was huge too! Way to go students! We’re so proud of you!
LOS ANGELES’ A+D Museum is the only museum in our area dedicated to Architecture and Design. It is the mission of the Museum to educate and expose the larger community to the important roles of Architecture and Design in shaping the quality of urban life.
On April 27, 2010 A+D Museum is hosting CELEBRATE 2010, their grand opening and inaugural fundraising event to celebrate the newly erected building, and the 20/20 Foundation Group (including Michael Palladino) that made the move a reality. The 20/20 is a premiere cluster of talented Los Angeles’ Architects and Designers whose support has enabled the A+D Museum to become a cultural fixture in their new home. 20/20 members, renowned architects, designers, community leaders, and celebrities – as well as LAUSD 5th Graders – have been asked to create seminal works from an “A+D Kit.” These works will be part of a silent auction and exhibit.
Here’s where you come in: A+D is in need of volunteers to assist the museum prior to the Grand Opening, as well as the day of the event. This is a great opportunity for students to network with prestigious members of the Architecture and Design community. In exchange for your efforts, A+D is offering volunteers a FREE one-year membership to the museum! So sign up NOW!
