From March 18 – April 19th Cisco Home (440 N. La Brea Avenue Los Angeles, California) is staging an exhibition to redefine the term sustainability
“by examining how people inhabit their built environments.” This exhibition will showcase the designs of Behnisch Architekten and Transsolar ClimateEngineering through their international projects and constant collaborations.
Behnisch Architekten has long been known in Europe for a dedication to sustainable practices and has built a reputation in the United States through their Los Angeles offices. They have also recently added a studio in Boston. The firm has serviced many fabulous clients including Harvard University, the City of Santa Monica, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and University of Baltimore. Their best-known North American building is the LEED-Platinum Genzyme Center in Cambridge, MA, which is featured in the exhibition.
