AWA+D’s Annual ‘Stand Out From The Crowd’ Portfolio Review
Architecture, Event, Interior Design, Master of Interior Architecture, Networking, News & Info, UCLA Extension
AWA+D’s annual Stand Out From The Crowd Portfolio Review has been scheduled for Saturday, March 25th at 11:00am. Kovac Design Studio located at 11828 W Pico Blvd in West LA has graciously agreed to host this year’s portfolio review.
Our portfolio review provides a valuable opportunity for participants to make sure they are interview ready. Architecture, landscape architecture and interior design students, recent graduates and emerging professionals are encouraged to register. Admission is free for Members; $25 for Non-Members. Women as well as men are welcome to attend. The day will open with a brief introduction from Michael Kovac, Principal, Kovac Design Studio. After the introduction, guests participate in concurrent rounds of “mini-interviews”, typically about 15 minutes in length with several professionals. It’s a great way to get different perspectives. There will be a break where we bring all the attendees together so that interview, resume and portfolio tips can be shared with entire group.
For details and to register, visit www.awaplusd.org/events. Any questions can be directed to mentoring@awaplusd.org.
