The second is a discussion on modern kitchens presented by Design Within Reach with Leo Marmol of Marmol Radziner! The event takes place in Manhattan Beach on Thursday, September 10. RSVP by September 7 to: manhattanbeach@dwr.com. More info can be found here or on the DWR website.

Fall classes: Electives, Seminars and Tours.

UCLA Extension Arc_ID would like to present you with a few of our many class offerings for fall quarter. First of all, we announced previously that we have a new class: SB1608 Disabled Access Seminar for Architects!  Taught by Nate Wittasek, this one-day seminar fulfills the mandatory continuing education requirements for architects.

We are also offering several fun One-Day Lectures & Courses. These include Feng Shui  with Simona Mainini, The Role of the Royal Mistress in the Design of Great French Palaces with Eleanor Schapa, an Introduction to Oriental Carpets with Chris Fager, and Creating Warmth and Drama in the Home with Light taught by Kathy Pryzgoda.

Finally there are several architectural development and home design classes being offered. These are great for those with more specific design interests, and can also be used to satisfy elective credits for students in our program. These include courses such as, Residential Remodeling with Paul Bially, Furniture Design with Patrick Alt, Kitchen Design with Donald Silvers, and Photographing Architecture and Interiors (online) with Douglas Hill. (Please note that some of these courses may have prerequisites)

Please pick up a course catalog or go to our online registration page to see a full list of the full-length courses and program offerings we have available! You can also click on any of the class titles above to be redirected to their registration pages. We look forward to having you join us.
