Shepard Vineburg announced as the ASID Student Chapter Faculty Advisor of the Year!

ASID Student Chapter announces Faculty Advisor of the Year is our very own Shepard Vineburg!

Shepard Vineburg, ASID is awarded ASID Student Chapter Faculty Advisor of the Year for his outstanding service as an invaluable supporter of the entire ASID UCLA Extension Student Chapter. He consistently supports the chapter through this teaching, his generous introductions of students to his nurtured industry partner relationships, and through his commitment to bridging the gap between the classroom and the interior design community. He encourages students to participate in tours and educational opportunities, and he has placed many students in internship programs and professional positions. In addition, he has been involved in planning more than 50 student career day events with the local ASID chapter. Vineburg is known as a mentor who has elevated the industry for all students he’s touched.

“Bridging the gap between education and industry offers a remarkable advantage to the student chapter. Not only has he shared his passion for interior design, but the relationships he has built over years of practice. What an incredible asset to the students and their student ASID chapter.” – Laura Kimball, ASID

“This faculty advisor CLEARLY has an impressive background and history with ASID. He truly commits to what is expected of a faculty advisor, especially as it relates to bridging the gap between students and professionals. I am thoroughly impressed with the list of activities and involvement.” – Lauren Reinhard, Allied ASID

Congratulations to such a hardworking, honest, and loved instructor of UCLA Extension!
