Looking for ways to spend less money on your education? One of the perks of being a candidacy student in the Interior Design Certificate program is that you can become a Teaching Assistant or Librarian and earn up to $600 in course credit! These positions are limited and have certain restrictions, but if you are interested in becoming a TA or Librarian, read below to find out if you’re eligible.
Teaching Assistant eligibility:
- You must have established candidacy in the Arc+ID program. Click here for a full overview on how to establish candidacy in the Arc+ID program.
- You must have good standing in the program and have received an A in the class for which you wish to assist.
- You must be able to fulfill all of the requirements outlined in the Duties and Responsibilities of Teaching Assistants.
Teaching Assistants are often hand chosen by instructors. However, if you would like to volunteer for the position as a TA and are eligible, please discuss the opportunity with the instructor of your choice. If that instructor agrees that you would be a good fit as a TA, the last step is to request approval by the Arc+ID department. At this point, contact the program directly at email@example.com or (310) 825-9061 to finalize the decision.
