Haiti Response: Architecture for Humanity

All of us here at Arc_ID are extremely saddened by the tragedy that occured in Haiti last week. There are so many ways to contribute both physically and monetarily, and fortunately we architects and designers can help in a very tangible way. Architecture for Humanity is a San Francisco based non profit searching for volunteers to help with the rebuilding process in the wake of the disaster. You can read this great article about them in Interior Design Magazine. Inhabitat online also offers some insight on the subject HERE.

You can sign up to volunteer HERE. Monetary donations can also be submitted via PayPal sans service fee HERE.

(The United States Government has warned those wishing to help monetarily to be sure of a charitable organizations credentials before donating in order to avoid fraud.)
